Mimosa are an instrumental and vocal trio who have been performing together for five years and separately for many more. They are all trained singers (soprano, alto and tenor) and highly experienced instrumentalists - they play violin, flute, piano and guitar.

Mimosa offer a great alternative to the traditional string quartet or solo singer offering you a wider range of instrumental options and possibilities of vocal duets and trios as well as solos. Mimosa of course offer all the classical wedding repertoire (Ave Maria, Panis Angelicus, Pachelbel’s Canon, Air on the G String etc etc) accompanied by piano and violin/flute/other voices but they also specialise in three part a capella vocal harmony which can make your ceremony that little bit different.

If you prefer something more modern or perhaps some traditional Irish music, Mimosa will be happy to make it happen for you. Perhaps you’d like to walk down the aisle to a classical piece on the violin but love the idea of a tenor singing at communion and your favourite song accompanied by guitar at the signing of the register. Choosing Mimosa gives you the flexibility to have all the music that you’ve dreamed of on your wedding day.

Mimosa specialise in music for both the Church ceremony and drinks receptions. While their wide repertoire caters to most people’s taste, they have no problem performing other music at the request of the bride and groom. They travel anywhere in the country.
